Every hosta from Funckia comes with a 100% growing guarantee, and as a consumer you can cancel your purchase within 14 days of receipt without giving a reason. This page explains what we do if something is wrong and how to return products.

Our growing guarantee
We check our plants for quality and health before they leave. If a plant does not grow even though you followed our planting and care instructions, we send you a free replacement or refund the price. The guarantee also covers plants that arrive in poor condition and plants of a different variety than you ordered. Email us your order number and a photo.
This commercial guarantee is in addition to your statutory consumer rights and does not limit them.
Damaged or incorrect delivery
Please report damaged or incorrect plants within 48 hours of delivery. Email your order number and photos of the products and the packaging to info@dutch-bulbs.com. We send a free replacement or a refund.
Plants are living products: their size, colour and shape can differ slightly from the photos on our website, depending on the season and growing conditions.
Right of withdrawal (14 days)
You can cancel your order within 14 days after you receive it, without giving a reason.
How to cancel:
- online, in your customer account: go to Orders, choose the order and request a cancellation or return; or
- by email to info@dutch-bulbs.com with your name, order number and the products you want to return.
You receive a confirmation by email. You pay the return shipping costs, unless the products were damaged or incorrect.
You can also cancel an order that has not been shipped yet, for example an order placed in autumn for delivery from 1 March. Email us and we refund the full amount.
How to return products
- Tell us that you want to return products (online or by email, see above).
- We confirm your return and send you the instructions.
- Send the products back within 14 days, in their original condition and packaging, to: Dutch-Bulbs B.V. (Funckia), Carolus Clusiuslaan 3D, 2215 RV Voorhout, the Netherlands.
Living plants deteriorate quickly in transport. Please contact us first: for a damaged or wrong plant, a photo is usually enough and you do not need to send it back.
Refunds
When we have received your return, we confirm it by email and refund the amount within 10 working days to your original payment method. If you cancel the whole order, we also refund the standard shipping costs you paid.
